Summer, Summer, Summertime! {Part 1}

I love summer. Blue skies, sprinklers, outdoor dinners, bathing suits (and tan lines!), the smell of sun tan lotion, driving with windows down, camping, roasting s'mores, late nights, road trips, BBQing, NO WORK, and extended time with my family!

Who doesn't love summer? We certainly have been enjoying every moment since that last bell rang at school on June 20th. Here are some of the highlights of what we have been enjoying.

*A Spokane trip for Kevin's work. Had a great stay at the Davenport again...sadly only one picture to share!

First time sleeping in the same bed--they LOVED it!

*Mckinley's 4th Birthday. We had an ice cream party (turned pool party due to the awesome weather) in the afternoon with friends and family. Then in the evening we took her to her favorite restaurant--Red Robin! :) Pretty deserving of its' own post--look for that soon!

*Our 5th wedding anniversary!

*A 4th of July trip to the cabin with Kevin's family.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

*A trip with my family to Harstine Island--with an extra special visit from our family from Georgia (I loved spending time with them! Unfortunately, I got ZERO pictures with them--how that is possible I am not sure).

Now we are home for a while. Hoping to fit in some additional camping trips and possibly another trip to the cabin. In the mean time we are enjoying lots of time in the backyard with Kinley's birthday presents (pool, water guns, and other pool toys!) and visits with friends! Also, we have one other project that is in the works...potty training Kyan! That also deserves it's own post--send me good potty thoughts though! I definitely need them!! :)
